How compensation, repair and painting of the car after an accident in the case of RCA
The case is registered with the insurance company. The insurance company's expert draws up a damage assessment report (PVC). Afterwards, there is the option - cash compensation based on the company's calculations or referral to a service center.
In case you decide to request a repair at our repair station, we take care of all subsequent interaction with the insurance company to ensure the repair of all defects that occurred as a result of the accident, whether it is a case of CASCO or RCA.
And in cases with minor repairs (without complex tinsmithing works) and painting only a few elements (as is the case in many cases - painting a bumper and/or painting a wing, hood) no scheduling is required. Due to the generous space and high flow, simple works can be performed in parallel with other complex works without disrupting the process and influencing the process.
In what case may cash compensation be insufficient?
If the cash compensation option is chosen - it is good to be aware that if defects appear that were not initially detected, it is difficult to supplement the compensation and is often paid out of pocket.
Here are just a few examples:
Calibration and synchronization work of electrical blocks is omitted (headlights, radar, blind spot sensor, doors, mirrors and other parts, even the battery in newer cars, may require calibration or synchronization after disassembly)
apparently intact radiator may have leaks that become visible later
the suspension may have bent arms that can only be detected at the end of the work when the geometry is adjusted
defective/cracked slides and mounting brackets
cracked hoses and pipes
technical fluid leaks
parts calculated to be repaired and in the process it is discovered that they were previously repaired and can now only be replaced
wing or door that was painted using excess previous kit
bumper that was previously welded and painted
previously welded and painted grid
misaligned spar
level 1 misalignments
chipped paint on the interior
damaged lining
seat belt locked
How long does it take to repair and paint a car with RCA insurance?
After registering the case with the insurance company in our practice, a confirmation that the work can begin appears within 2-4 weeks.
Simple jobs like painting the bumper or painting the wing or hood without major tinsmithing work are done quickly and without prior appointment - within 1 week you can have your car repaired and painted.
In case of ordering parts, their delivery can take from 1 day to 1 month, the average term being - 2 weeks. And the tinsmithing and painting works begin only after the parts are in stock. Tinsmithing and gap alignment (рихтовка и выравнивание зазоров) is not possible without assembling the parts.
